PolarStar F2 Nozzle — Precision Centerline Nozzles for Airsoft Cylinder Conversions

Designed for airsoft technicians and players upgrading cylinder conversion systems, the PolarStar F2 Nozzle provides a precise, number-based approach to nozzle sizing. By using a universal nozzle number, you can accurately match nozzle length across different manufacturers and models, reducing fit issues and improving performance.

  • Numbered nozzle system: Nozzle lengths are assigned a universal number, accommodating variations between manufacturers so you can select the right length for your F2 conversion regardless of rifle brand.
  • F2 Centerline Nozzle formula: TIP = F + B - (A/2) +.2925 — the calculation used to determine the correct nozzle tip length for centerline installations.
  • Precise measurement requirements: Measurements must be in thousandths of an inch (0.001"), typically taken with calipers to ensure an accurate fit and reliable performance.
  • Guidance for unlisted replicas: If your gun isn’t in the compatibility database, you can estimate the appropriate length from gearbox and nozzle measurements or request a custom nozzle.
  • Common nozzle lengths by model: Practical reference for popular platforms, including: 1) TM M4/M16, A&K PKM, TM MP5 A/SD — 1.205", 2) CYMA AK, CYMA MP5 A/SD, G&G UMP — 1.242", 3) CA M249/MK46, A&K M249/MK46 — 1.190", 4) G&G GR-25 — 1.8305", 5) A&K SR-25, JG SR-25, ICS SIG 550/551/552 — 1.3435", 6) KA FAL, TM MP5K, A&K M240 — 1.2745, 7) PTS MASADA, CA SCAR-L — 1.514", 8) VFC SCAR-H — 1.8875, 9) EF/S&T TAR-21 COMP — 1.2565, 10) EF ARX160 ELITE — 1.866", 11) CA KAC LMG, VFC MP5 A/SD — 1.127", 12) LCT AK-47/74/M, LCT VSS/AS VAL — 1.2155
  • Cross-engine compatibility: Once you identify the correct nozzle number, it remains the same across engines that use the numbered nozzle system, with some exceptions for model-specific Kythera systems.

Benefits you’ll notice when using the PolarStar F2 Nozzle include more consistent air delivery, improved hop-up alignment, and a tighter, repeatable shot cycle across upgrades. The system reduces guesswork during builds, helps you avoid mismatched nozzle lengths, and supports smoother maintenance by providing a clear, measurable path to the right nozzle length. If you’re upgrading multiple replicas or swapping components, the universal numbering simplifies ordering and reduces downtime. For unlisted models, the Help Center offers compatibility guidance, and custom nozzle options can be arranged when measurements fall outside current production.
